In line with government guidance we have implemented control measures for your safety and that of our team.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

Cycle Sales

Enquiries: Email us with your requirements/preferences and we will let you know what we have in stock wheelers@watchtree.co.uk

Viewing:

Priority will be given to those viewing by appointment following an email enquiry.

All sale items will be displayed outdoors in an area visible but cordoned off from public access.

Customers can view cycles from outside of the area in the first instance.

If you wish to view a cycle/s for closer inspection or test ride, please let a member of the team know. The viewing area is restricted to one person or one parent/guardian and child at a time.

When entering the viewing area or taking a test ride:

  • You must wash your hands using the facilities provided
  • You should avoid any unnecessary contact with cycles and other surfaces
  • You must give our team space to work – minimum 2 meters
  • We will move bikes around for you and make the necessary adjustments
  • We will sanatise cycle contact points prior to and following test ride

Purchasing:

  • We will complete all paperwork on your behalf
  • You will have the opportunity to make a photographic record of this paperwork before it is filed
  • Payment should be by card, Applepay, Googlepay etc. And should be contactless where possible
  • If contactless is not possible then hands should be sanitised before entering a PIN.

Donations

Demand for bikes is currently very high and we would love to take your unwanted bikes. We service and repair donated bikes before selling on to raise funds for our project. If you wish to donate a bike or other cycling equipment, please read and follow the following instructions:

  • Donated bikes and parts should be washed before donation. Clean surfaces are less likely to harbour viruses and are easier for us to sanatise.
  • All donations will be quarantined for 72 hours before processing by staff/volunteers.

Servicing and repair

Servicing and repairs are by appointment only; bookings can be made by emailing us on wheelers@watchtree.co.uk with the basic details of your requirements.

The following instructions will apply when dropping off and collecting your cycle.

  • You must clean your bike before dropping it off
  • We will sanatise the bike on arrival, before it enters the workshop
  • We will clean and sanatise the cycle on completion of work, before collection
  • Where possible, all work on a bicycle will be completed by one person to reduce infection risk.

Please also note:

  • There is limited storage space at Watchtree. Customers should strive to collect their bike as soon as possible after being notified of the completion of work.
  • The sourcing of cycle parts has been more difficult since the arrival of Covid 19. It may take longer to get the parts that your bike needs, please be patient.

  • We will complete all paperwork on your behalf
  • You will have the opportunity to make a photographic record of this paperwork before it is filed
