Our Kids Club sessions run from 10am-4pm (6 hours) on certain days during school holidays

Our education officer Caroline will spend the day leading fun, educational activities at Watchtree, examples of activities during the school holidays include:

  • Bushcraft (den building, fire lighting and toasting marshmallows). 
  • Hunt for minibeasts
  • Get crafty using items from around the woodlands. 
  • The new ponding platform will be ready to use during the half-term holidays so we will also spend time in pond wood using the new facility on the reserve. 
  • We will also enjoy the range of bikes that we have on the reserve to complete a scavenger hunt.
  • AND MUCH MORE…

Hot chocolate, water and a piece of fresh fruit will be provided.

The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.

 Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.

 What do I NEED to bring to the event?

  • A packed lunch or add a watchtree lunch to your order for £4.99 from our add-ons
  • Dress in warm clothing, outdoor wear/clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. (Long sleeves and trousers)
  • You may also need spare clothing in a bag.
  • Boots or wellies and waterproofs. 
  • Sun cap
  • Suncream
  • Any emergency medication (Inhalers, Epipen)
  • Bring a packed lunch and drink
  • If you have bought a watchtree lunch please select your child’s food items from our education officer during drop off.

Extra water and fruit will be provided throughout the day.
