Birdsong Walk at Watchtree Nature Reserve

Step into the peaceful world of birdsong on an early morning guided walk through Watchtree Nature Reserve. Led by Frank Mawby and Mike Abbs, this special experience will help you identify birds by their unique songs and calls while enjoying the beauty of springtime in nature.

What You Need to Know

📍 Meeting Point & Start Time

• Meeting Point: Visitor Centre
• Start Time: 7:30 AM (Please arrive 15 minutes early)
• Duration: Approx. 2 hours

🚶‍♂️ Walking & Accessibility

• The walk follows gentle paths—walking boots are recommended.
• The Wetlands area can be muddy, though conditions should improve by May.

🌦 Weather & Cancellations

• Birds sing less in wind and rain, but we’ll proceed in most conditions.
• If severe weather is forecast, we may cancel the evening before—please provide a valid phone number & email at booking so we can notify you.
• Dress warmly—May mornings can be chilly!

🚫 Important Notes

• No dogs permitted on this walk.
• Group size is limited to 12

The event will be rescheduled, if possible, and participants will be notified of the new date via email.

You will have the option to:
-Participate on the rescheduled date.
-Donate your entry fee to support Watchtree.
-Request a refund.
