Kick-start your health and wellbeing in 2026 with Watchtree’s brand-new guided Couch to 5K Programme!
If you’ve been thinking about getting into running, but aren’t quite sure where to begin, this is the perfect place to start. Using the NHS’s trusted Couch to 5K plan as the backbone, our friendly guides will help you build confidence, stamina, and strength week by week. There’s no pressure, no judgment, just a warm, supportive environment where everyone begins together.
It’s completely free to join.
Simply turn up every Sunday at 9.30 am, starting 4th January 2026, and we’ll take it from there. Our team will walk (and jog!) you through each session safely, helping you avoid injury, stay motivated, and enjoy the journey. All you need is a pair of trainers and a willingness to give it a go.
Your ultimate milestone? Being ready to take on the Watchtree 5K in March 2026. And who knows, once the running bug bites, you might find yourself eyeing up our 10K in June… or even our Half Marathon in November.
The Watchtree Running Community is incredibly welcoming, sociable, and cheering you on every step of the way. And of course, there’s always a freshly brewed coffee waiting for you in the Watchtree Coffee shop after your Sunday session.
