Join our experts Anne and Mike Abbs on a walk of discovery in to the lives of primeval predators and industrious pollinators!
Take a walk round Watchtree Nature Reserve and visit the habitats of the Odonata (Dragonfly), learn about their life cycle and how to identity types of Dragonfly and Damselfly, with the opportunity to see them in flight (weather conditions permitting). We will also take a look at the Bumblebee, and many variations that can be found on the reserve.
There will also be discussion about and identification of different types of bumblebee seen along the way!
Join us at the Visitors Centre at 10:15, starting at 10.30 am on Saturday 13th July 2024.
Incidentally, the week of 6th July to 14th July is National Dragonfly Week 2024.
