Our Education Officer Leanne will spend the day leading fun forest school sessions with a focus on nature, here at Watchtree!
Examples of activities during the Summer holidays include:
- Bushcraft (den building, fire lighting and toasting marshmallows and using tools).
- Hunt for minibeasts
- Get crafty using items from around the woodlands.
- Pond dipping
- We will also enjoy the range of bikes that we have on the reserve (bike hire is included).
- AND MUCH MORE…
Hot chocolate, water and a snack will be provided.
The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.
What do I NEED to bring to the event?
- A packed lunch, or add a Watchtree lunch to your order for £5.00 from our booking add-ons.
- Dress in warm clothing and bring extra layers – plus outdoor wear/clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (long sleeves and trousers).
- You may also need spare clothing in a bag.
- Boots or wellies and waterproofs.
- Sun cap
- Suncream
- Any emergency medication (Inhalers, Epipen)
- A water bottle that can be refilled during the day. Extra water will be available throughout the day.
