We are thrilled to announce an exciting new social prescribing project, Woodland Wellbeing, funded by The Nineveh Trust. This unique seven-week programme offers a chance to immerse yourself in nature, learn new skills, and experience the incredible benefits of the great outdoors.
Woodland Wellbeing is designed to help you connect with nature while improving both mental and physical health. Led by our expert Education and Wellbeing team, each session will feature engaging outdoor activities, including:
๐ฅ Bushcraft & Foraging โ Identify wild plants and develop outdoor survival skills.
๐ Nature Poetry & Mindfulness โ Find peace and creativity in the beauty of the woodland.
๐ด Cycling โ Explore the scenic trails and embrace the freedom of movement.
๐ฅ Campfire Cooking โ Enjoy the warmth of a fire while preparing delicious food outdoors.
๐ Wildlife & Nature Identification โ Discover the hidden wonders of the natural world.
Each morning begins with a gentle walk to a private woodland space, where weโll gather around a campfire with a warm drink, allowing time to relax and settle into nature before engaging in activities that nurture wellbeing.
This programme is open to anyone looking to:

No prior experience is neededโjust a love for nature and a willingness to explore!
