FREE weekly events at Watchtree

Every Monday morning at 10.00 and lasting just over an hour.   A variety of routes are used so each week the walk is slightly different.

Watchtree was previously an airfield so is very flat making walking easy!   Most of the paths are wheelchair friendly and, if there is anyone in a wheelchair, the leader will ensure that only wheelchair friendly paths are used.

Being a nature reserve there is usually some wildlife to see!

After a little break, we’re thrilled to say that the Watchtree Parents Walk is returning — and we now have a brilliant team of over 5 volunteer walk leaders ready to guide the way!

Starting Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, join us for relaxed, pram-friendly walks around the beautiful trails of Watchtree Nature Reserve.

👣 No pressure. No pace to match.
Just a warm welcome, fresh air, and friendly faces who get the ups and downs of life with little ones.

Our walks are open to all caregivers — mums, dads, grandparents, and carers. Whether you’re looking for connection, conversation, or just a reason to get out of the house, we’re here for you.

🌿 Formerly known as Ready Steady Mums, our group has grown to reflect today’s families, because everyone deserves support.
