North Lakes Country Park Sponsors Major Renovation of Bird Hide at Watchtree Nature Reserve

Watchtree Nature Reserve is delighted to announce generous sponsorship from North Lakes Country Park, Silloth, which has enabled the renovation of one of our lake wildlife hides. This sponsorship specifically funded the rebuild of the entrance door, enhancing the experience for visitors and supporting wildlife observation in the area.

The donation from North Lakes Country Park was crucial in covering the cost of high-quality materials required for the project. This renovation was made even more special by the craftsmanship provided by one of Watchtree’s dedicated volunteers, a retired joiner, who brought years of experience and a deep commitment to the reserve to this project.
