We are super excited to share Watchtree’s very own Tale Trail. The Adventures of Flash and Iris has been written and illustrated by our talented friend, Anja Phoenix (Tale Trails – Story walks around the UK) and kindly funded by Bimson Haulage (BIMSON | FORS Silver ULEZ DVS UK Brick Delivery Specialist), Coop Causes (Co-op (coop.co.uk) Noble Charitable Trust (Noble Charitable Trust | A trust which benefits communities – Noble Charitable Trust) and Tesco Stronger Starts Tesco Stronger Starts – Groundwork
The Adventures of Flash and Iris is an interactive walk (cycle / wheel / jog) around the nature reserve, which will introduce you and your family to some new Watchtree characters and take you on a journey through our history, from the age of the dinosaurs right up to present day, and a hope for our furture. It is designed to engage everyone from the littlest visitor to the most grown-up! It will take you 1-2 hours to read the story, follow the map and spot the characters.
Who will you meet? What will you learn?
Our story can be downloaded here, or a copy can be collected from the Visitor’s Centre.
Enjoy yourselves and let us know what you think! If you enjoyed ours, why not head over to the Tale Trails website to see where else you can explore.
