The group, formerly known as Ready Steady Mums, has relaunched with a fresh, inclusive focus and an incredible new team of over five volunteer walk leaders, all ready to guide weekly walks through the peaceful trails of Watchtree.
Designed especially for parents, grandparents, and carers of babies and toddlers, the pram-friendly walk offers a relaxed, pressure-free environment to stretch your legs, enjoy the outdoors, and meet others navigating the ups and downs of life with little ones.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing this walk back to life,” says Senga Grave, Marketing and events Team leader at Watchtree Nature Reserve. “There’s something really special about being able to come together in nature, especially when you’re adjusting to life with a small child. This group is a chance to share smiles, stories, and some much-needed fresh air — no matter your pace, your pram, or how much sleep you’ve had!”
The newly revitalised group reflects the changing shape of modern families. With more dads, grandparents, and caregivers stepping into primary care roles, the Watchtree Parents Walk has evolved to become fully inclusive and welcoming to all, because support, fresh air, and friendly faces are things everyone needs.
