This December, Watchtree Nature Reserve invites you to an evening of festive magic and community spirit with Zing! at Christmas! Held at the charming Kirkbampton Village Hall, this event promises a heartwarming experience filled with live music, delicious food, and holiday cheer – all in support of a vital cause.

The show will feature the renowned Zing Pop Choir, performing two sets of Christmas classics that are sure to get you in the festive spirit. Included in the entry fee, guests will enjoy a delicious festive pie served with mash, peas and gravy, followed by homemade sweet treats (vegetarian alternative available).

All proceeds from this special evening will go towards the purchase of a second defibrillator for Watchtree Nature Reserve. This defib will be installed in our All-terrain-Vehicle so that it is always on hand around the reserve and at our increasingly popular outdoor running and community events. 

“Watchtree is at the heart of the local community, offering a safe and welcoming space for people to connect with nature and each other,” said Senga Grave, a spokesperson for Watchtree Nature Reserve. “Our first defibrillator has been invaluable, but with the increase in activity at the reserve, a second device will ensure we are even better prepared for any unexpected emergencies. This concert is not just about celebrating Christmas; it’s about making a real difference to the safety and well-being of everyone who visits us.”

Event Highlights

Seated festive meal: Festive pie from Harrisons Butchers of Wigton, served with mashed potatoes, peas and gravy. 

Cake table during intermission: Indulge in a variety of homemade sweet treats.

Two live performances from the Zing Pop Choir: Prepare to have your Christmas socks knocked off as the Zing Pop Choir belts out festive bangers and jingle-filled jams

Licensed bar: Relax and enjoy a tipple or two

Raffle prizes: Win exciting surprises just in time for the Christmas season.

Festive outfit competition: Dress in your most festive attire for a chance to win a special prize!
