Part of our progressive running event programme for 2024, the Watchtree 10K run takes place on local roads surrounding the reserve. We’ve been hosting running events at Watchtree for years and have recently made changes to offer longer distances for those who enjoy a challenge. If you have been training through our Couch to 5K sessions and have completed your first 5K, then why not go for the next milestone of 10k?!
There are only 200 places available for this run, and judging from the popularity of last year’s runs they fill up fast, so you need to be quick to enter! All entries will receive a completion medal.
Anyone who completes all three runs – the 5k, 10k and Half Marathon – will be eligible for one of our beautiful commemorative 2024 medal hangers to display your medals!
This will be an evening run starting at 7 pm; it will be summertime so daylight will stretch a bit further!
We had a wonderful event last year, with an extremely supportive atmosphere – come and have a go!
