Autumn Half Term Holiday Kids Club

Our Education Officer Leanne will spend the day leading fun, educational activities with a focus on nature, here at Watchtree!

Examples of activities during the Autumn half term holidays include:

• Bushcraft (den building, fire lighting and toasting marshmallows). 
• Hunt for minibeasts
• Get crafty using items from around the woodlands. 
• Pond dipping.
• We will also enjoy the range of bikes that we have on the reserve.
• AND MUCH MORE…

Hot chocolate, water and a snack will be provided.

The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.  

Meet the kids club leader in the visitor’s centre from 9.50 am.

 Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The club is for children aged between 5 – 12 years old.

 What do I NEED to bring to the event?

• A packed lunch or add a Watchtree lunch to your order for £4.50 from our add-ons.
• Dress in warm clothing or layers, outdoor wear/clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. (Long sleeves and trousers).  
• You may also need spare clothing in a bag.
• Boots or wellies and waterproofs. 
• Sun cap
• Suncream
• Any emergency medication (Inhalers, Epipen)
• Bring a packed lunch and drink
• If you have bought a Watchtree lunch please select your child’s food items from our Education Officer during drop off.

Extra water will be available throughout the day.
