Government Cycle Voucher Scheme

You may have seen in the news that the “Fix Your Bike” cycle repair voucher scheme announced by the Government in May becomes “live” at midnight tonight, 28th July. It entitles each household in England to up to two £50 vouchers to be used at registered repairers (we are one) towards the cost of returning your bikes to a roadworthy condition. This is a limited issue of vouchers as the government is treating it as a “pilot run”. Full instructions on how to apply for a voucher and the procedure for redeeming it are on the website:

This will, potentially, create a high demand for cycle servicing, which is good, but will stretch our workshop and bike storage capacity. We therefore ask for your forbearance and flexibility as regards service appointments and repair times.
