IMPORTANT UPDATE: Date change to closure of Watchtree Services

The reserve will now be closing on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th February 2023, instead of Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th February 2023 as previously advertised. Due to unforeseen circumstances, DEFRA (Watchtree landlords) have had to delay the replacement of the power cable as previously planned. They will still need to power down all services to complete the work.

Please note:The Car Parks, Trails and Compost Toilet will be OPEN The visitors centre, cafe, main toilets and all cycle hire, repair and sales services will be CLOSED

Thank you so much for your patience during this period – as mentioned previously, the new connection will help to prevent some of the power outages we have been experiencing. On a positive note, the closed section of the Perimeter trail will now re-open earlier than originally planned, this Saturday, 28th January 2023 and full loops of the reserve will again be possible!
